Zephyr Teachout

Zephyr Teachout is award-winning author, constitutional law professor,
and a nationally-renowned democracy and anti-corruption activist. The
New York Times called her the “godmother of the current moment of
dissatisfaction with establishment politics.” In 2014, she ran against
Andrew Cuomo for Governor, shocking pundits by winning a third of the
vote, and in 2018, the New York Times endorsed her when she ran for
Attorney General.  She is the author of Corruption in America, and
Break ’Em Up. Her writing has appeared in the New York Times, New York
Review of Books, Foreign Affairs, The Nation, and has inspired
legislation in states around the country.
