Daniel Cooper

Daniel Cooper is an Economic Development Strategist at Great River Energy, where he works with electric cooperatives, businesses, and communities to advance economic development opportunities across Minnesota. He brings more than 11 years of experience in the electric utility industry, with expertise in economic development, commercial and industrial account management, utility infrastructure, and energy programs. Prior to joining Great River Energy, Cooper served as a Key Accounts and Business Development Manager, Engineering Line Staker, and Journeyman Lineworker.

Cooper also serves as Chair of the Iron Range Economic Alliance, Chair of the Grand Rapids Area Chamber of Commerce, and Co-Chair of the Iron Range Childcare Initiative Task Force. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Bemidji State University and is a Certified Energy Manager (CEM), Certified Energy Auditor (CEA), and Certified Key Account Executive (CKAE).
