Christina Nicholson

Christina Nicholson, MBA, currently works as the Cooperative Developer for the Worker Owner Initiative (WOI), which is part of Nexus’ Community Wealth Building Strategy. She provides Consulting and Technical Assistance for existing and newly forming businesses who are interested in exploring worker ownership as a competitive advantage in the marketplace. Christina’s cooperative focus is on creating higher employee satisfaction and retention, in addition to growing community wealth and stronger local economies. Christina has worked in a range of cooperative roles and sectors for over 25 years, from retail to construction. Outside of work, she currently serves as Board Secretary for the MN Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee, helping to provide fair and equal wages to all workers in Minnesota. In her spare time, she enjoys time with her family, her dogs, and her garden.
