Cathy Statz
Cathy Statz (she/her) is a cooperative outreach specialist for the National Cooperative Business Association (NCBA CLUSA); she also supports the Cooperative Development Foundation on projects including the Cooperative Leaders and Scholars (CLS) program. An advocate for educating youth and emerging leaders about co-ops, she spent more than 25 years as Wisconsin Farmers Union’s education director/camp director and continues to serve as co-coordinator of the National Farmers Union College Conference on Cooperatives (CCOC). Additionally, she serves as an outreach specialist for the International Centre for Co-operative Management at Saint Mary’s University. In 2024, she completed the Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) training with the National Credit Union Foundation. Cathy’s board service includes the Ralph K. Morris Foundation and InSPIREation Foundation, and membership in the Cooperative Communicators Association (CCA), Association of Cooperative Educators (ACE), CooperationWorks!, and an online Rotary club called Rotary Changemakers.
